World expert with inspiring lectures for the Montessori pedagogy in Sofia

Institute Montessori Bulgaria hosted an inspiting event in Sofia between 16th and 18th May with the special participation of Elina Rautasalo. The seminar lectures got in depth of the Montessori pedagogy for children in age group 3-6: principles, environment and the role of the adult.

For these 3 days the City Library in Sofia transformed into an inspiring Montessori class room filled with engaged members of the Bulgarian Montessori society!

Elina Rautasalo is an AMI 3-6 Trainer with over 30 years of experience in the field of education, working with both children and adults in her native Finland and abroad.

Her Montessori journey began in London at the Maria Montessori Training Organisation, (now the Maria Montessori Institute), in the early 1990s. Elina was a member of the MMI’s training team for over 20 years.

In addition to London, Elina has directed AMI’s 3-6 courses in South-East Asia as well as in Prague. At present, Elina is Director of Training at Montessori Institute Prague.

Elina is an AMI examiner and lectures both in the UK and internationally. In her spare time, she enjoys books, music and playing the violin.
