Last November, we started something new and exciting as a school. We joined with Montessori School Varna to explore the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Our hope was to inspire our students to think deeply about real-world problems and to find ways to make a difference.
Watching the students work was inspiring. They chose topics that mattered to them and spent a lot of time researching. They learned not just from books or the internet, but also from each other. I saw students sharing ideas, asking questions, and listening carefully to different opinions. This teamwork helped them come up with creative solutions.
One of the big goals was to create a “Blueprint for Change.” This was a document where students wrote down their ideas and plans for making the world better. To help everyone understand their research, they also made display boards. Seeing their hard work and creativity on display made me feel proud.
The project ended with a two-day conference. We all came together to share and discuss the students’ ideas. These two days felt like a celebration of what we can achieve when we work together. I was especially impressed by how confident the students were when they spoke in front of others. Presenting their work helped them grow, not just as students, but as young leaders.
MAGIC was more than just a project. It showed me how much students can do when they care about something. I am proud of every student who took part. Their passion and hard work give me hope for the future.
