Carla Foster leads a seminar in Sofia on 2-3 November, 2018

This practical seminar is designed for supporting the professional development of primary and elementary educators and parents, who will dive deeper into the knowledge of personality development at the age of 6-12. You will receive valuable guidelines for the teacher’s approach and classroom activities that encourage love of learning.

We are honoured to have Carla Foster in Sofia for this event. She is originally from California, but has lived many years in Norway. She graduated from UC Berkeley, California with bachelor’s degrees in Social Anthropology and Scandinavian Studies and a masters in Old Icelandic Literature and Norwegian Literature. She gained her AMI 3-6 diploma from the MMTO in London in 1984 and her AMI 6-12 diploma from Milwaukee in 1990 and has been working with elementary children since 1990. She has worked with children at levels 3-6, 6-9 and 9-12 in both private and public Montessori schools. She had her own class in Norway for 12 years before joining the AMI Trainer of Trainers programme. In 2011 she became an AMI Director of Training for the Elementary level and has worked on courses in the US, Europe and India. Any spare time is spent doing various forms of dance.
