Dr. Steve Hughes will be a keynote speaker at the upcoming conference on “Child Development in the Social Environment”.
Steve Hudges, PhD, LP, ABPdN is President of the American Board of Pediatric Neuropsychology and Chair of the AMI Global Research Committee. Steve completed his PhD in clinical psychology at the University of Minnesota and his post- doctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology at the University of Minnesota Medical School, where he joined the faculty of the Division of Pediatric Neuropsychology in 2001. He specialises in the neuropsychological assessment of children and adolescents with a wide range of developmental and medical disorders, and assists in the supervision and training of future neuropsychologists.
His research interests include measurement of attention and executive functioning in young children, the effects of living in poverty on child development, and the neurodevelopmental aspects of decision making, social interactions and discipline.
