AMI Montessori 3-6 course for teachers provides in-depth study of Montessori pedagogy focusing on the developmental needs of children from 3-6 years of age. Teacher qualifications for pre-school education is fully integrated into courses of AMI.
At least 410 hours of classroom-based training including, 260 hours lectures, a minimum of 140 hours of supervised practice with Montessori materials, 90 hours observation and 80 hours teaching practicum in Montessori settings.

AMI trainer
Maria Roth
Maria Roth is AMI 3-6 Trainer and has been involved in education since1970. Maria gained the AMI Diploma, which was signed by Mario Montessori, who at the time was also one of her examiners. She started her trainer training in Milwaukee, USA in 1975 and worked closely with Mario Montessori. She was involved in establishing the first AMI course for Special Education in Munich, which started in 1976. She gained her Trainer diploma, which was signed by Renide Montessori, the granddaughter of Maria Montessori. In 1983 she founded and directed private bilingual Montessori Kindergarten , which operates incessantly to this day. In 1999 she established Montessori Internationales Internationales Ausbildungszentrum e. V. running the AMI courses, the bilingual Montessori Kindergarten and the bilingual Montessori School. She has been a strong supporter of the spreading and developing of AMI Montessori tradition in new countries.

Aside from the cost of the AMI Diploma Course examination and an administration fee* and books and materials for your own personal use, no additional payments are required for any other elements of the course such as teaching practice, supervised practice sessions, etc. There is an option for a payment on instalments.
