What did you enjoy most about this Montessori course?
I really enjoyed learning from Carla how the Montessori method encourages independence, curiosity, and hands-on exploration. She showed us how inspiring it is to see how children thrive when given the freedom to learn at their own pace in a carefully prepared environment.
How do you think this course helped you grow as a storyteller?
This course helped me become more attentive to the needs and interests of children. Carla showed me how to craft stories that are not only engaging but also meaningful, connecting to what children are experiencing and curious about at the age of 6 to 12.
What is one thing you learned that you will always remember?
I will always remember the principle of “follow the child.” It reminded me of something that I read in one of the books of Maria Montessori, that every child has their own path and rhythm of learning, and our role is to support and guide them, not to control or rush their development in a way we think is the best.
